School Examinations
Our pupils are encouraged to enter school examinations which develops confidence, poise and real sense of achievement. These internal examinations give the children the opportunity to perform the class work learned in class without the pressure of performing in front of an external examiner. They are awarded a medal and certificate.

Higher Dance Intense Course
Our school is a recognised SQA centre, delivering the Higher Dance course to our older pupils who, so far, have achieved a one hundred percent pass rate. This qualification is accepted as an academic higher and is acknowledged when completing UCAS application. Although a great amount of study and written work is required to achieve this qualification it allows our students to use the knowledge and creativity they have acquired throughout their years of training.
RAD Examinations
All of our staff are fully qualified members with the Royal Academy of Dance and follow this syllabus in class. We offer the opportunity for students to take the Royal Academy of Dance Examinations where an external examiner from London assesses the students. We are proud to say we have a one hundred percent pass rate with the RAD.

Annual School Show
The end of year spectacle displays the hard work and progression which our pupils have achieved from year to year. It gives our students the opportunity to perform in professional setting. This year our rehearsals will take place the week of the 10th June and our show will be between 17th June – 28th June 2024.
musical theatre
Musical Theatre is held on Sundays, new pupils can enrol on the day. Throughout the day, all groups will rotate through a drama class, a singing class and a dance class, all lasting between 45 minutes or an hour, dependant on age. Please attend in comfortable clothing ready to dance and move around, either dancewear or a tracksuit type clothing, with jazz shoes or indoor appropriate footwear.
Twinkle Stars aged 5– 7: Will be given a 15 – 20 minute break and should therefore bring something to drink and a snack. There is a degree of reading required for singing lyrics, so basic reading skills are useful. Lyric sheets will be offered to take home for practice.
All other groups will have around 45 minutes for a lunch break and should therefore bring a packed lunch. Our “café” will be open selling crisps, chocolate and drinks.
We ask everyone to arrive 10 or 15 minute prior to class commencing.
We will work towards our Annual Showcase Performance.
